WASHINGTON, Aug. 9, 2004 — A U.S. Marine, seven Iraqi police officers and four soldiers from the Iraqi Intervention Forces are the latest casualties of violence in Iraq. The Marine, assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, was killed in action Aug. 8 in the Anbar province while conducting security and stability operations. Story
